BHAVINI, is a high profile Public Sector in limelight in view of the fact that success of Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor, under construction presently will bring energy security for India in fijture. BHAVINI, invites applications from the qualified candidates for the following posts:

1. Mechanical
• Number of posts : 22 (UR-li, SC-3, ST-2, OBC-6)
• Qualification : B.E,/B,Tech in Mechanical Engineering with not less than 6O% marks in aggregate. Desirable Experience in Design, analysis, Manufacturing, Construction, QA, Procurement, Maintenance & Operation etc. in process industries, power plants, etc.

2. Electronics & Instn
• Number of posts 5 (UR-3, SC-i, ST-i)
• Qualification : B.E./B.Tech in Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering with not less than 60% marks in aggregate. Desirable : Experience in Design, analysis, Manufacturing, Construction, QA, Procurement) Maintenance & Operation etc. in process industries, power plants, etc.

3. Health Physics
• Number of posts : 2 (UR-1, OBC-1)
• Qualification : M.Sc, Physics / Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university Desirable Experience in Process Industries, Chemical plants, power plants, similar fields in physics / chemical field

4. Chemical
• Number of posts: i (ST)
• Qualification : B.E,/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with not less than 60% marks in aggregate. Desirable : Experience in Design, analysis, Manufacturing, Construction, QA, Procurement, Maintenance & Operation etc. in process industries. power nlants. etc.

5. Physics
• Number of posts: 1 (UR)
• Qualification: M.Sc. Physics with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university Desirable : Experience in industries, plants in radiation handling, R&D, etc.

6. chemistry
• Number of posts: 1 (SC)
• Qualification : M,Sc. Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university Desirable : Experience in Process Industries, Chemical plants, power plants, chemical labs, R&D

Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100

Age Limit: 30 years

Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI) is a wholly owned Enterprise of Government of India under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy(DAE). It has been incorporated on 22nd October 2003 as a Public Limited Company under the Companies act,1956 with the objective of constructing and commissioning the first 500 MWe Fast Breeder Reactor(FBR) at Kalpakkam in Tamilnadu and to pursue construction,commissioning,operation and maintenance of subsequent Fast Breeder Reactors for generation of electricity in pursuance of the schemes and programmes of Government of India under the provisions of the Atomic Energy Act,1962.

BHAVINI is currently Constructing a 500 MWe Fast Breeder Reactor(FBR) at Kalpakkam, 70 Kms away from Chennai at the cost about Rs.3492 crores. The FBR is the forerunner of the future Fast Breeder Power Reactors and is expected to provide energy security to the Country. The FBR is being built with the design and technology developed at the Indira Gandhi Center for atomic research (IGCAR) ,also located at kalpakkam and is expected to go on stream by 2010.
