EIL has opportunities for the following :-

M01 Management Trainee (BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg)) :-
For the Postion of Management Trainee only those candidates who have Passes out in 2009 OR Passing out in MID 2010 are eligible to Apply.

M03 Engineer (ME/ M.Tech/ M.Sc (Engg)) :-
For the position of Engineer only those candidates who are Passing out 2010 are eligible to apply.

Minimum percentage of marks: 65%, (aggregate of all semesters / years, till last result declared) for all categories
Upper Age Limit (as on 1.7.2010): 25 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PD candidates and by 3 yrs for OBC(non creamy layer) candidates)

Selection for Management Trainee :
The selection methodology will comprise of Written test and Interview. The written test is likely to be conducted in June/July 2010 (tentative). The candidates short-listed in the written test will be required to appear for interview.

Selection for Engineers :
The selection will be through Interview.

Emoluments & Placement :
For MT : During Traing (One year Training period), Rs.25,000/- CTC : (Approx.) Rs.3.75 LACS P.A.
On Successful Completion of Training MTs will be considered for absorption as ENGINEER in the regular pay scale of Rs.20600-46500

For Engineers : Engineers on induction will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.20600-46500 at basic salary of Rs. 20600/-p.m. CTC : (Approx.) Rs. 6.6. LACS per annum

Application Fee :
Candidates belonging to General category and OBC category are required to pay examination fee of Rs.300/-in the form of Demand Draft (DD). The DD is non refundable and should be drawn in favour of “Engineers India Limited”, payable at New Delhi. (Only for Management Trainees. No application fee is to be enclosed for the post of “Engineer”.)

Online submission of application will be permitted on the website between 0000 hrs on 12.05.2010 till 2400 hrs on 31.05.2010. The print out of the application from complete in all respects along with the enclosures, must reach"The General Manager (Personnel), Engineers India Limited, 1, Bhikaiji Cama Place, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066", on or before _07.06.2010. The envelope should be superscribed with "APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION OF _________________”. The opted test centre with code and discipline should also be mentioned at the top left hand corner of the envelope.
