Job Details:
Applications are invited from unmarried male Indian citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) as PILOTS in the Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing Jul 2011 at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala.
Educational Qualifications:
A graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 65% marks. Should have qualified Mathematics & Physics at 10+2 level.
Physical Standards:
(a) Height and Weight. Minimum height - 157 cms with correlated weight.
(b) Eye Sight. The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.
Age. 19 ½ to 25 years i.e. born between 02 Jul 1986 and 01 Jan 1992; both dates inclusive.

This is the premier training establishment of the Indian Navy and will conduct the basic training for all officers being inducted into the Indian Navy under various schemes. INS Zamorin is the base depot ship for administrative and logistic support for NAVAC.
